In cooperation with the Federal University of Kazan (Privolje) of the Russian Federation, the administration of Bukhara State University planned to organize professional development courses for university executives at KFU on the program "Modern University". The courses consist of 2 parts, part 1 will be held traditionally at KFU from December 7 to 21, 2021, and part 2 will be conducted online from December 22, 2021 to January 29, 2022. 20 teachers from various faculties, departments and divisions of Bukhara State University are taking part in this advanced training program.
The team of 20 representatives of Bukhara State University spent 1 week of this training course on December 07-11 at KFU. These days, within the framework of the program "Modern University" classes were held on the topics of 1st and 2nd blocks. Leading professors and heads of administrations of KFU conducted informative lectures-presentations to the representatives of Bukhara State University.
During the training, participants were introduced to current trends in the development of education in the world, factors influencing the development of higher education, current problems, the main directions in the development of education in Russia and other developed countries, digital university issues, modern university models, their management, strategic development, financing, personnel policy, university education policy, directions of scientific and research activities of modern universities, opportunities of universities in international rankings, transformation of technologies into real sector of economy, research funding, effective information on the conclusion of contracts, the formation of modern research universities, the preparation and placement of articles in international indexed article systems.
In the second half of the day, along with training sessions, listeners got acquainted with the campuses, material and technical base, structure and functions of the basic units of the institute, museums and laboratories. University professors got an opportunity to gain firsthand experience. In particular, the delegation was invited by the university administration to the exhibition "Money" (Dengi), which took place on December 8 at the Museum of KFU, and the BukhSU team took part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition. In their free time, representatives of Bukhara State University got acquainted with the sights and infrastructure of the city of Kazan via the tour, organized by the administration of KFU in the framework of this program. In particular, the delegation got acquainted with the campuses of KFU Institutes, Kazan Sports Complex, KFU Planetary Observatory, Kazan Kremlin, Kul Sharif Mosque, Bauman Street, Suyumbike Tower and other historical monuments of the city.
In addition, representatives of the Bukhara State University delegation visited the structural units of KFU in specific areas, reached agreements to develop existing cooperation in various areas with the administration of these units. Representatives of Bukhara State University have agreed to hold full-time lectures in the form of full-time bachelor's and master's degrees in the relevant institutes and faculties of KFU next week.
